MAGA Rioter With ‘Fu** You’ Tattoo Arrested After Girlfriend Tags Him On Facebook

The FBI on Thursday announced the arrest of a Donald Trump supporter from Michigan who was captured on video attacking law enforcement officers defending the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and whose identity was confirmed with the help of a “FUCK YOU” tattoo on the middle finger of his left hand, reports HuffPost.

“Justin Jersey, 31, of Flint, is charged with federal offenses that include assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and inflicting bodily injury, civil disorder, and entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon, among other charges,” the FBI said in a press release. “Jersey was arrested in Flint and made his initial court appearance today in the Eastern District of Michigan. He was detained pending further court proceedings in the District of Columbia.”

According to the indictment, Jersey, at approximately 4:27 p.m., participated in an assault of a Metropolitan Police Department officer, then armed himself with a baton, which he used to strike at other MPD officers.

Jersey, who was No. 106 on the FBI’s Capitol wanted page and known to online “Sedition Hunters” as #Fingerman, was identified by a group of citizen sleuths who sent their findings to the FBI in August, about a month after the bureau circulated a video of Jersey attacking officers and asked the public to help identify him.

“Jersey was friends with another Capitol riot defendant, Trevor Brown, and Jersey’s girlfriend publicly tagged the two men in a post about Jan. 6 on Facebook,” reports HuffPost. “Online sleuths found an Instagram image of Jersey that showed what appeared to be a ‘FUCK YOU’ tattoo on his left middle finger — which can also be spotted in images of him swinging a stick at officers — erasing any doubt about the identification.”

In the 10 months since Jan. 6, more than 675 individuals have been arrested in nearly all 50 states for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol, including over 210 individuals charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement. The investigation remains ongoing.
