Anti-Vaxx Lawyer For Dozens Of Capitol Rioters Has Covid And Is On A ‘Ventilator’: Report

John Pierce, a high-profile right-wing lawyer who is representing more than a dozen January 6 Capitol rioters, is reportedly on a ventilator in hospital with Covid-19 after publicly declaring that he would never get vaccinated.

Pierce’s illness was publicly revealed Wednesday after it prompted a hearing for accused Capitol rioter Shane Jenkins to be delayed, according to independent journalist Marcy Wheeler and Washington Post reporter Rachel Weiner.

“John Pierce’s colleague, Ryan Marshall (who is not barred in DC but nevertheless handled Pierce’s appearance in Nate DeGrave’s case yesterday), piped up to say, yes, that was happening but unfortunately the notice of appearance he thought had been filed last night had not appeared on the docket yet,” Wheeler’s post continued.

When U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta inquired as to where Pierce was, his colleague Ryan Marshall responded: “Mr. Pierce is in the hospital, we believe, with COVID-19, on a ventilator, non-responsive.”

The judge ultimately continued the hearing until next week, saying, “Send our best wishes to Mr. Pierce and his family.”

On August 17, Pierce tweeted: “The entire 82nd Airborne couldn’t make me get an experimental government vaccine stuck in my arm.”

On July 4, he wrote on the platform that an army vaccine mandate was “a final-phase designed-purge of Patriotic Americans from the Army. Prepare for anything and everything at this point. This goes deeper than anything I thought even a few months ago. No one should be taking any of these vaccines, least of all the military”.

On March 23, he tweeted: “I personally think anyone who trusts the government to shoot some vague, unknown ‘vaccine’ in their arm for a virus with origin of a CCP biological weapons lab is taking a very big risk.”
