Anti-Vax Radio Host Who Celebrated Deaths Of AIDS Patients, Has Died Of Covid
Bob Enyart, the pastor of the Denver Bible Church and a conservative talk radio show host, has become the latest vocal opponent of COVID-19 precautions to die of the virus, according to a Facebook post by his co-host, Fred Williams.
Enyart’s Real Science Radio Show website railed against what it described as the “imagined” burden of COVID-19 cases on hospitals and even offered advice on treating the virus from the Bible. It accused “fake news” outlets of exaggerating the severity of the virus.
The conservative firebrand and his wife had opted against getting the vaccine, citing the nonsensical claim that COVID-19 vaccines rely on “cells of aborted babies.”
In October, Enyart successfully sued the state over mask mandates and capacity limits in churches, a rare legal victory against broad public health mandates instituted during the pandemic.
On his old TV show, Bob Enyart Live, the host would “gleefully read obituaries of AIDS sufferers while cranking ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ by Queen,” according to the Denver Post.
He once traveled to New Zealand for the sole purpose of being arrested with a “Clinton is a Rapist” banner, according to a 1999 Westword profile.
