Comedy Central’s Jordan Klepper on Saturday shared a clip from his new interview with former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in which she read from special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
In the video, Klepper asks Bill and Hillary to help him decide which crowdfunding campaigns he should support, eventually clicking on one trying to get Hillary Clinton to record an audiobook version of the Mueller report.
“The investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the campaign it would benefit electorally,” Hillary began by reading from the Mueller report.
“The president slumped back in his chair and said, ‘Oh my God, this is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I’m Fu*ked!’ ” Hillary read out loud, mimicking Trump’s voice.
“What do you think?” Klepper asked, looking to a nodding Bill Clinton. “I’d listen to that audiobook.”
Klepper and the Clintons browsed through a variety of crowdfunding campaigns, looking for a cause to support. After finding a campaign for someone hoping to go to law school to impeach Trump, Clinton suggested they launch a Kickstarter to send Attorney General William Barr “back to law school for continuing legal education.”
