A fake video of President Trump shooting, stabbing and brutally assaulting media personalities and political opponents was reportedly played at a conference for his supporters at his Miami resort last week, according to footage obtained by The New York Times.
Several of Trump’s top surrogates — including his son Donald Trump Jr., former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) — were scheduled to speak at the three-day conference, which was held by a pro-Trump group, American Priority, at Trump National Doral Miami.
Sanders and a person close to Trump Jr. told the Times that neither one saw the video.
The video, which reportedly includes the logo for President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, was obtained by the Times.
One portion of the video reportedly shows Trump’s head superimposed on the body of a man opening fire at people who have the faces of his critics or the logos of media organizations superimposed on bodies inside the “Church of Fake News.”
Among the lawmakers and logos targeted in the video was the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CNN, according to the newspaper.
This video (parts of it, at least) appears to have been posted by "TheGeekzTeam" — part of a pro-Trump "meme squad" back in Nov 2018.

The edited clip appears to come from the 2014 dark comedy film “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”
“Content was submitted by third parties and was not associated with or endorsed by the conference in any official capacity,” Alex Phillips, the event’s organizer, told the Times. “American Priority rejects all political violence and aims to promote a healthy dialogue about the preservation of free speech. This matter is under review.”
Although I’m loath to share it, here’s THE video (shown at conference for his supporters at his own resort) depicting Trump shooting his enemies. I only share because folks should see where these people are at these days… pic.twitter.com/pA34lNVxk1

GOP strategist Ana Navarro condemned the video in a tweet Sunday night: “Enablers choose to deny it, but this is the kind of crap Trump peddles & inspires. His constant attacks on the free press, the chants against journalists at his rallies, his retweeting of similar memes…Trump has legitimized hate. #Deplorable.”
Former Trump White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci tweeted: “The American Nazis have arrived. Will you be a part of stopping them? Not acting is an act. Disgusting intolerable incitement of violence.”
