U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has resigned from her role in the Trump administration.
Axios, citing two people familiar with the matter, reported on Tuesday that Trump accepted Haley’s resignation, but that it was unclear when she would leave her post.
NBC News reports that Haley told her staff on Tuesday that she planned to resign.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced on Twitter shortly after the reports surfaced that Trump and Haley would meet in the Oval Office on Tuesday morning.
President Trump and Ambassador Nikki Haley will meet in the Oval Office at 10:30am this morning. This event will be open to the pool.
