President Trump, who according to the results of his latest physical finds that he is clinically obese, reportedly referred to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) as “fat Jerry” in a recent meeting with a group of House Republicans at the White House.
The Washington Post reported Monday that Trump made the remark last month while suggesting that Nadler, who is the chair of the House Judiciary Committee which is investigating Trump, is overweight despite having weight-loss surgery years ago.
“I’ve been battling Nadler for years,” Trump added.
The Post, which cited several people who were at the meeting, reported that GOP lawmakers were embarrassed by Trump’s comments.
Before firing his Secret Service Director, the president reportedly made fun of his appearance, calling him “Dumbo” because of his ears, The New York Times reported Monday.
Trump called Randolph “Tex” Alles the name while making fun of his looks, the Times reported, citing two officials.
The newspaper also reported that Trump soured on Alles “a while ago.”
