Trump To Dictator Kim: If You See This Tweet, Meet Me At DMZ To Shake Hands ‘And Say Hello(?)’

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Friday to cordially invite North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un to meet him at the demilitarized zone with South Korea so they can shake hands and “say hello.”

“After some very important meetings, including my meeting with President Xi of China, I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon),” Trump tweeted.

“While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!” Trump added.

Earlier this month, Trump said he received a “beautiful” letter from Kim Jong Un, telling reporters: “I just received a beautiful letter from Kim Jong Un … I appreciated the letter.”

An administration official described the letter as a “birthday greeting.”

Trump has previously described notes from the North Korean dictator as “love letters.”

At a campaign rally last year, Trump said that he and the North Korean dictator “fell in love.”

“I was really being tough and so was he,” Trump said. “And we would go back and forth. And then we fell in love. No really. He wrote me beautiful letters.”

“They were great letters. And then we fell in love,” he continued.
