Trump Supporter Wearing ‘Proud Boys’ Hat Makes ‘White Power’ Gestures Behind President At Rally
A man standing directly behind the president at a retirement community in Florida repeatedly held up the ‘OK’ hand gesture – which has been adopted by white supremacist groups and has been designated as a “symbol of hate” by the ADL.
The man also appeared to be wearing a hat sporting the logo of the ‘Proud Boys’ a far-right group that supports President Trump’s reelection.
A supercut from the president’s 90-minute speech shows the man displaying the gesture nearly a dozen times.

The man made the gesture prominently when President Trump said in his speech: “We have made America proud again.”

Trump drew criticism last month when he was asked to disavow the Proud Boys during the first TV Presidential debate. Instead, Trump instructed the group to “stand back and stand by.”
Within minutes, members of the Proud Boys – founded by Brit Gavin McInnes – embraced his comments posting calling his words “historic.”
WEAR-TV reporter Rebekah Castor shared photos appearing to show the same man seen standing behind the president wearing the same hat and glasses while “providing security” at a Rep. Matt Gaetz event in Milton, Florida earlier this week.
Hey @MattGaetz, care to explain why the Proud Boys were providing security for an event you spoke at? https://t.co/fVQI43Yvr3

Trump was also accused of being “very racist” at his rally when he repeatedly dog-whistled Obama’s middle name:
