Trump Reportedly Described White House As A ‘Real Dump’ To Golf Club Members

President Donald Trump reportedly told members of his New Jersey golf club that the real reason he spends so much time away from Washington visiting his properties is because the White House is a “real dump.”

“That White House is a real dump,” Trump said about the residence that has been home to every U.S. president since 1800 according to a lengthy article posted on the website golf.com. The story will also appear in Sports Illustrated magazine.

Trump also reportedly granted his golf club members access to potential Cabinet interviewees during the transition.

“This is my real group,” he reportedly told a group of club members, while offering them an invite to stop by his interviews the following day. “You are the special people. I see all of you. I recognize, like, 100% of you, just about.”

Trump has spent nearly every weekend of his presidency visiting various properties he owns and leases, including Bedminster.

To date, Trump has spent 58 days at Trump-branded property and has spent 43 days at a Trump golf course according to NBC News.
