Trump Showers Praise On White #2 NFL Pick Who Called Kaepernick A ‘Clown,’ Ignores Black #1 Pick
President Donald Trump congratulated 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa on Saturday morning for being taken second overall in the draft by San Francisco, encouraging the Ohio State product to “stay true to yourself.”
The “stay true to yourself” message followed by “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” appeared to many to be a reference to Bosa’s history of controversial tweets which included calling former 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown” in 2016 for kneeling, criticizing Marvel’s Black Panther film and promoting President Donald Trump. Shortly after the “clown” tweet, Trump blasted Kaepernick and urged NFL team owners to fire the “sons of bitches” who dared to kneel.
“Congratulations to Nick Bosa on being picked number two in the NFL Draft. You will be a great player for years to come, maybe one of the best,” Trump wrote. “Big Talent! San Francisco will embrace you but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Bosa scrubbed his Twitter account prior to the NFL draft, deleting several of his controversial comments, including his tweet about Kaepernick. Bosa apologized for the comments and called the “clown” tweet “a bad decision,” adding, “I respect what he’s done.”
According to USA Today:
But in recent days, Bosa’s Instagram history has been placed under the microscope, and the Twitter account, @RzstProgramming, uncovered that Bosa liked multiple Instagram posts that featured the N-word and a homophobic slur.
The account pointed to 2014 posts from a John Harrington, who attended St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida with Bosa. Harrington posted a selfie with a series of incoherent hashtags that featured the N-word, “rape and pillage” and a homophobic slur. Bosa’s Instagram account, nbsmallerbear, was among the accounts to “like” the photo.
Many on social media took issue with Trump skipping over black Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, selected first by the Arizona Cardinals, to heap praise on Ohio State’s Bosa.
You do realize that another player went #1 overall in the draft, right ahead of Bosa, right?

You congratulate the (white) #2 pick #NickBosa but not the (black) #1 pick @TheKylerMurray? WTF? #Trump

someone who believes that white supremacists protesting imaginary grievances by plowing cars into crowds are "very fine people" but black athletes respectfully kneeling to protest centuries of systemic racism are "sons of bitches" just might be a toxic waste dump of a person

Remember Nick Bosa was the fool that called Kapernick “clown” for taking a stand…makes sense why clown-in-chief congratulates him. He saw one of his own getting a new position.
