Attendees at President Trump’s campaign rally in Iowa on Tuesday night chanted “lock her up” after the president accused Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) of leaking Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“How about Sen. Feinstein? That’s another beauty,” Trump told the crowd. “Did you leak the documents?”
“‘Huh, what? What? No, I didn’t … ‘” the president asked in an apparent attempt to mockingly parody Feinstein.
Trump then asked the crowd, “Did we leak?”
“Did we leak?” he repeated, pointing to an audience member.
“He just said, ‘No, we didn’t leak,'” Trump said, laughing.
The crowd broke into thunderous chants of “lock her up,” prompting more laughter from Trump.
“I think they’re talking about Feinstein,” Trump said. “Can you believe it?”

Sen. Feinstein issued a statement to The Hill shortly after the rally concluded, denouncing Trump’s comments as “ridiculous and an embarrassment.”
“Dr. Blasey Ford knows I kept her confidence, she and her lawyers said so repeatedly. Republican senators admit it. Even the reporter who broke the story said it wasn’t me or my staff,” Feinstein said.
The “lock her up” chant has typically been used against Trump’s 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton.
