Trump Looks Up At The Sky, Declares Himself ‘The Chosen One’ After Saying He’s The ‘Second Coming Of God’
President Donald Trump declared himself “the chosen one” just hours after he shared a quote attributed to a right-wing radio host who said Jews in Israel view Trump as “the second coming of God.”
“I am the chosen one,” Trump said, looking up at the sky while addressing reporters Wednesday on the White House lawn.

Hours after Trump unleashed an anti-Semitic rant in the Oval Office in which he declared that Jews who vote for Democrats are either uneducated or disloyal, the president tweeted out a quote from Wayne Allyn Root, who has spread conspiracy theories about the Las Vegas shooting, George Soros and birtherism.
” ‘President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world…and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel,” Trump tweeted, quoting Root.
“They love him like he is the second coming of God…But American Jews don’t know him or like him. They don’t even know what they’re doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense!” Trump added, still quoting Root.
….like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God…But American Jews don’t know him or like him. They don’t even know what they’re doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense! But that’s OK, if he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s good for…..

Donald Trump just said, “I am the chosen one.”
Make no mistake. His push to forward the narrative that he’s a messiah isn’t an accident. It’s a strategy for 2020 and an escalation in vilifying his opponents. This is beyond dangerous in a way that’s hard to overstate.
