Trump Just Got Booed Again, This Time At A UFC Match In New York City

President Donald Trump was greeted in Madison Square Garden by roaring boos ahead of a UFC 244 fight on Saturday, marking the second time in less than a week that the president has been booed during a public appearance.

Trump also faced hundreds of protesters when he arrived to the mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship event.

The deluge of boos was the second time in six days the president has been loudly booed during a public appearance.

Last Sunday, Trump was greeted with thunderous boos and chants of “lock him up” during his appearance on the jumbotron at Nationals Park for Game 5 of the World Series.

Trump was sitting in the stands along with First Lady Melania Trump, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.). Other GOP members of Congress present included Sens. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) and David Perdue (Ga.).

Baseball fans also expressed support for the president’s impeachment by unfurling a large “Impeach Trump” banner and holding “Veterans for Impeachment” signs behind home plate.

Twitter users responded to Trump’s public rejections by retweeting videos of former President Obama receiving a nearly 30-second standing ovation and chants of “MVP!” from fans in Toronto as he attended Game 2 of the NBA Finals in June.

Obama could be seen standing up during the chants and ovation to acknowledge the crowd.
