President Donald Trump accused former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of conspiring with the Russian government to influence the 2016 election during a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania Wednesday night.
“There was collusion between Hillary, the Democrats, and Russia. There was collusion, there’s no question,” Trump said, just after his supporters had chanted “lock her up” about Clinton. “There was a lot of collusion with them and Russia and lots of other people.”
Trump offered no evidence to support his claim Wednesday night.
Special counsel Robert Mueller is currently investigating whether Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said Trump is delusional.
“Delusion, not collusion,” he said.
Trump made the remarks just hours after Hurricane Michael barreled into the Florida coastline as a Category 4 storm and continued its rampage through Alabama and Georgia. The storm has already claimed one life.
