Trump Had Marine One Pick Him Up At Private Golf Course, Fly Him To Vacation At Camp David: Video

President Donald Trump boarded Marine One at his Trump National Golf Club on Friday, going straight from 18 holes of golf to Camp David to meet his family for a final Thanksgiving at the presidential retreat.

Trump was seen saluting two Marines in dress uniforms as he climbed aboard, still wearing his red golf jacket and red ‘Make America Great Again’ cap with the number 45 embroidered on the side.

Trump was flown to the secluded presidential retreat in Catoctin Mountain Park, in Frederick County, Maryland, about 60 miles north of the White House.

“President Trump arrived at the his Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, at 10:59 am, marking his 417th day in office spent at a Trump property and his 306th day spent at a golf course,” CNN’s Jim Sciutto reported Friday.

“He has now spent 287 days on a golf course he owns in his 1,408 days in office. It was his 105th day at Sterling,” HuffPost White House correspondent S.V. Dáte reported. “Taxpayer-paid golf tab remains at $148 million.”

NBC News captured video of Trump’s golfing and Kelly O’Donnell noted he flew directly to vacation after golfing.

“Scenes from Pres. Trump’s golf outing today at his Virginia course. Different today, Marine One picked him up at his private club and flew him directly to Camp David,” O’Donnell tweeted.

Video of Trump’s golf outing sparked swift backlash online, with some noting: “Must be nice. Meanwhile 2000 Americans a day are dying.”
