White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has been removed just 10 days after taking the position, three sources told The New York Times on Monday.
The news comes only days after Scaramucci made headlines for delivering a scathing, profanity-laced critique of the chief of staff to a reporter with The New Yorker.
The change came at the request of new chief of staff John Kelly, who started Monday, according to Politico.
“Kelly is already changing the culture here,” said one White House aide.
The West Wing has seen the exits of press secretary Sean Spicer and former chief of staff Reince Priebus during Scaramucci’s brief, tumultuous tenure.
