Trump Ended 2018 With An All-Caps New Year’s Eve Twitter Meltdown: ‘MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL’

President Donald Trump released a New Year’s Eve video appearing to bemoan the fact that he was not able to attend a lavish year-end party at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“While I’m at the White House working, you’re out there partying tonight,” Trump said. “But I don’t blame you.”

“Enjoy yourselves, we’re going to have a great year, have a really, really happy New Year,” he added.

A short time later, Trump unleashed an all-caps rant insisting that Mexico would be paying for his border wall.

“MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL through the many billions of dollars a year that the U.S.A. is saving through the new Trade Deal, the USMCA, that will replace the horrendous NAFTA Trade Deal, which has so badly hurt our Country. Mexico & Canada will also thrive – good for all!” he tweeted.

“The Democrats will probably submit a Bill, being cute as always, which gives everything away but gives NOTHING to Border Security, namely the Wall. You see, without the Wall there can be no Border Security – the Tech “stuff” is just, by comparison, meaningless bells & whistles,” Trump continued moments later. “Remember this. Throughout the ages some things NEVER get better and NEVER change. You have Walls and you have Wheels. It was ALWAYS that way and it will ALWAYS be that way! Please explain to the Democrats that there can NEVER be a replacement for a good old fashioned WALL!”

On New Year’s morning, Trump continued his twitter meltdown with a tweet wishing his “HATERS” and “THE FAKE NEWS MEDIA” a “HAPPY NEW YEAR” in an all-caps tweet.

Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s acting Chief-of-Staff, confirmed to Fox & Friends on Sunday that Trump would be staying put in the nation’s capital for the countdown to midnight as he continues to deal the government shutdown.

“He’s canceled his plans for Christmas — now he’s canceled his plans for New Year’s,” Mulvaney said.

A source told Hollywood Life over the weekend that First Lady Melania Trump was expected to attend the annual New Year’s Eve gala at Mar-a-Lago on Monday without her husband.

Trump on Christmas Eve complained in a tweet that he was “all alone (poor me)” in the White House and was “waiting for the Democrats to come back” to end the shutdown.
