Trump Declares Himself The ‘Greatest Of All Presidents’ In Unhinged Tweet Attacking Pelosi, Dems

President Trump declared himself to be the “greatest of all presidents” in an angry tweetstorm Saturday afternoon that also lashed out at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) after she announced on Thursday that the House of Representatives would begin drafting impeachment articles against him.

“Hard to believe, but if Nancy Pelosi had put our great Trade Deal with Mexico and Canada, USMCA, up for a vote long ago, our economy would be even better. If she doesn’t move quickly, it will collapse!” Trump tweeted.

He also quoted Fox News personality Peter Hegseth before adding that voters “don’t want our greatest of all presidents impeached!”

Pelosi on Thursday said that it had become clear over two months of investigation that Trump had violated his oath of office by pressing a foreign power for help in the 2020 election. Allowing him to continue in office without remedy, she said, would come at “the peril of our republic.”

“His wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of our Constitution,” Pelosi said in a formal address delivered against a backdrop of American flags in the Capitol. “Our democracy is what is at stake. The president leaves us no choice but to act because he is trying to corrupt, once again, the election for his own benefit.”
