President Trump joined Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night to weigh-in on presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s decision to choose Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) to be his running mate.
During the phone interview, Trump went off on an unhinged rant attacking progressive environmental policies and claiming it will “destroy the country” and falsely claiming that windmills “kill all the birds.”
“Wind is nice it’s nice but it causes tremendous environmental problems from site to home values going way down,” Trump said without citing any evidence to back his claims. “If you see a windmill and you hear a windmill your home is worth half or less than half.”
“It kills all the birds,” he then falsely claimed.
“The whole thing is crazy what they want to do and they’ll destroy the country,” he added.

Trump has previously claimed that windmill noise causes cancer.
“If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer,” Trump said while delivering remarks at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual spring dinner in 2019. He offered no evidence to support the claim.
