Trump Brags He Recently ‘Aced’ A ‘Cognitive’ Dementia Test, Says Doctors Were ‘Very Surprised’
President Trump on Thursday night bragged to Fox News viewers he had recently “aced” a “cognitive test” designed to detect dementia and that the results left doctors at Walter Reed Military Medical Center “very surprised.”
“I actually took [a cognitive test] very recently when the radical left was saying, ‘is he all there?’ and I proved I was all there because I aced it,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity.
“I aced the test and [Biden] should take the same exact test a very standard test,” he demanded.
“I took it at Walter Reed, a medical center, in front of doctors, and they were very surprised,” Trump added.
“They said that’s an unbelieved thing – rarely does anybody do what you just did,” Trump said before again calling for Biden to take the “same test.”
Trump was bragging about taking a routine Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which includes tasks like naming animals underneath pictures of them, identifying one’s current location and drawing clock hands.

Trump’s bizarre brag was instantly mocked online, with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes tweeting: “the repeated insistence, out of nowhere, that “I ACED A TEST DESIGNED TO DETECT DEMENTIA” is kinda weird?”
