Trump Accuses SNL Of ‘Collusion,’ Threatens FCC Action After Watching A Rerun Episode Last Night

President Trump started his Sunday morning by once again railing against “Saturday Night Live” for telling jokes at his expense.

In a pair of tweets, Trump accused the sketch comedy show of “collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia” while appearing to suggest the federal government “look into”the show’s mockery of him and his presidency.

“SNL” aired a repeat this week and is not scheduled to run air a new episode until March 30, when Sandra Oh will host with musical guest Tame Impala.

The network aired an SNL rerun from Dec. 15 that opened with a parody of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” which illustrated what the world would be like had Trump never been elected president.

Trump issued a similar criticism at the time the live version aired, suggesting the show was an example of “collusion” and “should be tested in courts.”

Trump last week complained about late-night comedy shows after the subject was discussed on “Fox & Friends,” reports The Hill.
