The campaign arm for Senate Republicans is attempting to brand conservative Judge Amy Coney Barrett, an appeals court judge and University of Notre Dame law professor, as the “Notorious A.C.B.”
The fundraising scheme is an attempt to appropriate Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s famous nickname — The Notorious R.B.G. — just minutes after President Donald Trump on Saturday nominated Barrett to fill Ginsburg’s seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.
T-shirts emblazoned with “Notorious A.C.B.” are being given to donors who give between $25 and $5,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. The website claims the T-shirts the money will go to the “Supreme Court Defense Fund.”
“Democrats will do ANYTHING to stop President Trump and Senate Republicans from filling the Supreme Court vacancy,” the website argues. “Protecting our Majority has never been more important. HELP!”

This is beyond bad taste. It's offensive. Report it as such. I did.
