MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough on Wednesday criticized President Trump on Twitter, tweeting that the president is destroying the Republican Party and that it will be “the least damning” part of Trump’s political legacy.
“The destruction of the Republican Party will be part Trump’s political legacy, and the least damning,” the former GOP congressman wrote.

With his comment, Scarborough retweeted a link to an NBC article analyzing how the GOP tax plan threatens to widen the party’s “white collar vs. blue collar” divide.
The Hill added:
Scarborough has been an increasingly harsh critic of the president over the last few months. In the past, The “Morning Joe” host and his co-host, Mika Brzezinski, frequently hosted Trump on their show.
But tensions between Trump and the duo escalated during the campaign and the early part of Trump’s presidency, culminating with the president making a personal attack on Brzezinski, tweeting that she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” when she and Scarborough visited Mar-a-Lago.
Scarborough announced in July that he was leaving the Republican Party.
