President Trump angrily defended his decision to commute the sentence of his longtime friend Roger Stone on seven felony crimes on Friday, using the power of his office to spare a former campaign adviser days before Stone was to report to a federal prison to serve a 40-month term.
Trump railed against the judge in Stone’s case, the forewoman of his jury in the trial and also falsely accused former President Obama of spying on his campaign.
“Quiet! Quiet!” Trump shouted a female reporter.
“He had a forewoman who was horrendous,” Trump yelled as he departed to Walter Reed Military Medical Center. “She should have never been on the jury. The judge should have so ruled, the judge didn’t do that.”
Trump then railed against former FBI Director James Comey, urging reporters to “take a look” at him.
“Biden, Sleepy Joe,” he continued. “Take a look at Obama and they spied on Donald Trump’s campaign.”
“Those are the people, let me just tell you something, those are the people who should be in trouble,” he said before ending his rant.
