QAnon-believing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said recently that she has filed articles of impeachment against President Biden, only a day after he was sworn into office.
The text of Greene’s articles of impeachment was not immediately available, but Greene indicated that the articles accuse Biden of abusing his power while serving as vice president by allowing his son, Hunter, to serve on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
“President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency. His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama’s Vice President is lengthy and disturbing. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family’s pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies,” Greene said in a statement.

Biden has vehemently denied making any policy decisions toward Ukraine while taking his son’s business interests into consideration.
An investigation by Senate Republicans last year into corruption allegations against the Bidens found zero evidence of wrongdoing by the current president.
The report, released last September, also did not find evidence that Hunter Biden’s work for the Ukrainian company, Burisma, influenced U.S. foreign policy.
Greene, who was once described as a “future Republican star” by former President Donald Trump, is best known for her embrace of the completely discredited QAnon conspiracy theory which claimed Trump would conduct mass arrests of his political opponents and then expose them for running a Satanic pedophile ring.
In a 2018 post uncovered by Media Matters, the now-congresswoman responded “that is all true” to a commentator who asserted that the Parkland and Sandy Hook shootings were “STAGGED [sic],” along with the 1981 assassination attempt of Ronald Reagan and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Earlier this week, Media Matters uncovered a separate post in which Greene wrote that “Nancy Pelosi tells Hillary Clinton several times a month that ‘we need another school shooting’ in order to persuade the public to want strict gun control.” Last week, Twitter suspended Greene for 12 hours for sharing similarly ludicrous theories that the 2020 election was stolen.
