A large crowd of President Donald Trump’s supporters returned to Washington, DC on Saturday for rallies to back his desperate efforts to subvert the election that he lost to President-elect Joe Biden.
They cheered as Trump flew overhead on the Marine One helicopter on his way out of town for the Army-Navy football game in West Point, New York.
One viral video from the event shows a speaker with a bullhorn urging far-right provocateur Nick Fuentes to take the stage.
“And this kid, believe me, everyone has thrown him under the bus,” the speaker said.
“Charlie Kirk,” the speaker said to loud boos from the crowd. “Ben Shapiro, the original never-Trumper. We hate Ben Shapiro!” he shouted to more loud boos.
Fuentes then took the stage.
“At the first Million MAGA March, we promised that if the GOP would not do everything in their power to keep Trump in office, then we would destroy the GOP,” said Fuentes. “And as we gather here in Washington, DC for a second Million MAGA March, we’re done making promises. It has to happen now, we are going to destroy the GOP.”
The crowd then began chanting, “Destroy the GOP!”
“The GOP wants us to hold the line and vote for RINOS [Republican In Name Only] like David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in the Georgia Senate runoffs,” he added to loud boos from the crowd.
