President Donald Trump’s First Handshake Rejected By Polish First Lady In Awkward Public Snub

President Donald Trump on Thursday experienced another public handshake snub during his visit to Poland on Thursday (6 July).

When Trump reached out to shake the hand of Agata Kornhauser-Duda, the wife of Polish President Andrzej Duda, Poland’s first lady ignored his gesture and instead warmly greeted his wife Melania with a handshake.

After shaking Melania’s hand, Kornhauser-Duda ultimately returned to shake Trump’s hand.

Trump is visiting Poland ahead of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, on Friday (7 July).

Trump has made headlines on numerous occasions for his awkward power handshakes while meeting the world’s leaders.
