Police Hunt For White Man Who Kicked Black Journalist In The Head At ‘Proud Boys’ Rally In Portland: WATCH
Several hundred Proud Boys, a right-wing men’s fraternity, and their supporters gathered at Delta Park in North Portland this afternoon in what they intended as a show of strength for President Donald Trump.
The event was billed as retribution for Aaron J. Danielson, a Trump-supporting protester killed last month, and Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed two people in Wisconsin during a riot.
The Proud Boys and other far-right paramilitary groups have “repeatedly engaged in fierce street combat with anti-fascists and other political foes. On Friday, Gov. Kate Brown declared an emergency so Oregon State Police could oversee a law enforcement response,” reports Willamette Week.
Zane Sparling, of The Portland Tribune, documented the chaotic scene.
This presumably drunk woman recognizes Sergio Olmos and tells him to leave, then gets mad at me for taking her photo.

Sparling recorded the moment a white man was seen pushing a Black journalist to the ground before kicking him in the head.
Portland police announced they were investigating the assault and seeking witnesses.
“An investigation into this assault case is underway,” the department tweeted. “If anyone was involved in this or was a witness, please e-mail [email protected]”
