Photo of Trump’s Handwritten Notes Goes Viral: “Dems Have No Achomlishments”

A Washington Post photographer snapped a photo of handwritten notes President Trump brought with him to a hastily put together press conference on Wednesday, which appears to have been written in black sharpie, where he misspelled the word “accomplishments,” instead writing “achomlishments.”

Trump held the Rose Garden press conference minutes after storming out of a meeting with Democratic congressional leadership to discuss infrastructure. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused Trump of throwing a “temper tantrum” before walking out of the room.

As photographed by the Washington Post’s Jabin Botsford, Trump wanted to remember, “Dems have no achomlishments.”

Other notes that were visible in the photo include:

  • “They want to impeach me over acts that they did.”
  • “I’m going to keep working for the American people.”
  • “Most transparent.”

Trump told reporters, “Instead of walking in happily into a meeting, I walk into, look at people that have just said that I was doing a cover-up. I don’t do cover-ups. … I walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi that I want to do infrastructure … but you can’t do it under these circumstances.”

Trump said that as long as he is accused of a “cover-up” he refuses to work on policy with Democrats.

Trump attacked Pelosi’s intelligence on Thursday, claiming he was an “extremely stable genius.”

Twitter users mocked the misspelling:
