The GOP bill to repeal ObamaCare without a replacement is dead after three Republican senators have come out against it.
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) joined Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) in saying they will not support moving to the repeal-only bill, effectively killing the latest legislative push from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). Republicans could only afford two defections.
“No. I said back in January that if we’re going to do a repeal there has to be a replacement. There’s enough chaos and uncertainty already,” she told reporters Tuesday.
