2017 Nobel Peace Prize winner Beatrice Fihn, the executive director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), blasted President Trump over his decision to pull the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal, tweeting in all caps: “This is so stupid!”
“I see lots of smart people making eloquent arguments to why it’s wrong to violate the Iran deal and I just want to add mine,” Fihn tweeted. “This is so stupid! I can’t believe the rest of the world has to put up with the stuff right now, like we don’t have other problems on our mind at the moment?”

The Hill added:
Trump is expected to announce Tuesday that he will not continue sanctions relief for Iran, the first major step toward ending the Obama-era nuclear pact.
The New York Times reported that the U.S. will reinstate all sanctions that were waived under the 2015 deal, in addition to imposing new penalties.
The move is facing strong opposition from European leaders, who have said that Trump pulling out would cause the deal to fall apart. Trump has long railed against the pact and vowed during the campaign to pull the U.S. out.
