Man Accused Of Groping Woman On Flight: Trump ‘Says It’s OK To Grab Women By Their Private Parts’

A Florida man who was arrested for allegedly groping a female passenger while on a Southwest Airlines flight over the weekend reportedly told authorities “the president of the United States says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts,” according to an affidavit obtained by CBS affiliate KHOU.

Bruce Michael Alexander, 49, was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly twice touched the breast of a female passenger sitting in front of him during a flight from Houston to Albuquerque.

According to the affidavit, the victim said she felt his hand move from behind her and grab her right breast. The victim said she fell asleep about 20 minutes into the flight and a short time later, she felt Alexander touch her but dismissed it as an accident.

About 30 minutes later, she felt his hand grab the back of her arm and grope around her ribs and then her breast. Court documents say “she rose from her seat, turned around and told the passenger behind her that she didn’t know why he thought it was OK and he needed to stop.”

Flight attendants relocated the woman to another seat after the incident.

Alexander was arrested upon landing after his hands reportedly matched the description provided by the victim – “thick fingers, were hairy and dirty finger nails.”

After he was placed in handcuffs, Alexander told officers that “the president of the United States says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts.”

His defense is a reference to a 2005 Access Hollywood tape that recorded a conversation between Donald Trump and then-host Billy Bush. Trump can be heard boasting that women allowed him to “grab them by the p****.”

Alexander appeared in federal court on Monday and was charged with abusive sexual contact.
