Rideshare company Lyft says they will provide free rides to students who want to attend March For Our Lives rallies against gun violence in Washington and across the country.
“We want to send you a note of condolences, thanks, and solidarity,” Lyft’s co-founders wrote in a letter to students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Lyft added: “We believe there is something seriously wrong when the threat of gun violence is so frequent and real throughout our country. And like many, we are inspired by your leadership. We’d be honored to support your work with free Lyft rides to March For Our Lives rallies across the country on March 24.”

The March For Our Lives, which was organized by survivors of the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting, will be held in Washington, D.C., on March 24. Hundreds of rallies are currently being organized across the country to take place on the same day.
March For Our Lives is “led by students across the country who will no longer risk their lives waiting for someone else to take action to stop the epidemic of mass school shootings that has become all too familiar,” its website says.
