Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has offered to give his late-night show to President Trump if he quit the presidency after Trump called for “equal time” on TV to respond to late-night comedians’ “anti-Trump” jokes.
“Excellent point Mr. President!” Kimmel tweeted. “You should quit that boring job – I’ll let you have my show ALL to yourself.”

Trump took to Twitter Saturday morning to attack late-night comedians for their “unfunny and repetitive material” and suggested Republicans should receive “equal time” in response.
“Late Night host[s] are dealing with the Democrats for their very ‘unfunny’ & repetitive material, always anti-Trump!” Trump tweeted. “Should we get Equal Time?”

“More and more people are suggesting that Republicans (and me) should be given Equal Time on T.V. when you look at the one-sided coverage?” he added.
As noted by The Hill, Trump’s tweets came about an hour after Fox News’s “Fox and Friends” aired a segment accusing late-night of “[taking] a hard turn to the left.”
After his early morning tweet storm, Trump made an unscheduled trip to his Virginia golf club Saturday morning, making it the 69th visit to one of his own golf properties since taking office in January.
