J.K. Rowling Rips Trump As An ‘Authoritarian Braggart Who’s Too Dumb To Know How Dumb He Is’

Author J.K. Rowling tore into President Trump after he took to Twitter on Tuesday to brag about his superior “ability to write” and slamming reporters who like to “pour over my tweets looking for a mistake,” misspelling the word “pore” in the process.

Trump incorrectly used the phrase “pour over,” meaning to skip, instead of “pore over,” which means to closely examine or study.

“After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!”

In response to Trump’s misspelled tweet bragging about his writing abilities, the Harry Potter author laughed for several minutes before tweeting: “‘written’ and his ghost writer’s talked to the press,” and mockingly added, “Seriously, @realDonaldTrump is the Gratest Writer on earth.”

Rowling also called Trump an “authoritarian braggart who’s too dumb to know how dumb he is” in response to a Twitter user who threatened to burn their Harry Potter collection.

Update: Rowling has responded to Trump deleting his misspelled tweet: “hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
someone told him how to spell ‘pore'”
