In Wild Rant, Trump Blames Obama For Ruining The White House’s Air Conditioning System

President Donald Trump on Friday tore into former President Barack Obama, blaming his predecessor for ruining the air conditioning system in the West Wing, which he complained is either “freezing or hot.”

Speaking in the Oval Office Friday afternoon, Trump called for an investigation into President Obama’s lucrative book deal before turning his ire on the White House air conditioning system.

Hot under the collar about Democratic investigations after Robert Mueller’s testimony,

Trump explained why he was staying in Washington rather than going to one of his golf clubs this weekend. He spoke of the disruption of a presidential visit to Manhattan, then even tore into an Obama White House renovation that he complains is very uncomfortable.

“They do a lot of work in the White House, for instance, the Obama administration worked out a brand new air conditioning system for the West Wing, and it was so good before they did the system,” Trump claimed.

“Now that they did the system – it’s freezing or hot,” he complained.

There was a major renovation in 2012 in the West Wing and there was additional work done in 2017 while Trump visited his New Jersey golf club.

Trump suggested that investigators should open a probe into a book deal signed by former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama.

“They want to investigate, they want to go fishing and I watched Bob Mueller and they have nothing,” Trump said of Democrats during an Oval Office gathering to announce an agreement with Guatemala.

“It’s a disgrace,” he continued. “We want to find out what happened the last Democrat president. Let’s look into Obama the way they’ve looked into me. From day one they’ve looked into everything we’ve done.”

“They could look into the book deal that President Obama made. Let’s subpoena all of his records,” Trump continued. “Let’s subpoena all of the records having to do with Hillary Clinton and all of the nonsense that went on with Clinton and her foundation and everything else.”

Trump did not elaborate or offer any evidence to reporters about why a probe would be warranted.
