President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News on Sunday, claiming the network has been giving him his “worst polls” and said there is “something going on with Fox, and I don’t like it.”
“My worst polls have been coming from Fox. There’s something going on with Fox, and I don’t like it,” President Trump says in NJ before heading back to DC. “Fox is making a big mistake because, you know, I’m the one who calls the shots” on the general election debates.

“Fox is a lot different than it used to be. I can tell you that,” the president told reporters on Sunday. He mentioned Juan Williams and then pivoted to criticizing former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile, saying, “Then they have the wonderful woman that gave Hillary Clinton the questions. That was a terrible thing. And all of a sudden, she’s working for Fox. What’s she doing working for Fox?”
“Fox has changed, and my worst polls have always been from Fox. There’s something going on at Fox. I’ll tell you right now. And I’m not happy with it,” Trump said.
“I think they’re making a big mistake because Fox was treated very badly by the Democrats. Very, very badly. Having to do with the debates and other things. And I think Fox is making a big mistake because, you know, I’m the one that calls the shots on that — on the really big debates.”
According to a new Fox News poll, Trump’s approval rating is 43% which is slightly below his 43.7% approval rating average, according to RealClearPolitics.
The president’s remarks come hours after he blasted Fox News pundit Juan Williams on Twitter.
“Juan Williams at @FoxNews is so pathetic, and yet when he met me in the Fox Building lobby, he couldn’t have been nicer as he asked me to take a picture of him and me for his family. Yet he is always nasty and wrong!”
