Fox News commentator and conservative provocateur Tomi Lahren lashed out at the LGBT community, claiming that they are waging a “continual assault on masculinity” that undermines “traditional men” and traditional “marriage.”
“I just don’t get this ongoing and continual assault on masculinity by the Left,” Lahren tweeted.
“You can be a proud part of the LGBT community and movement without attacking traditional men and marriage at every turn,” she added.

You can be a proud part of the LGBT community and movement without attacking traditional men and marriage at every turn.

“Yes, men are now wearing dresses on the red carpet to stick it to masculinity,” she tweeted a short time later, clarifying her earlier remarks.
Yes, men are now wearing dresses on the red carpet to stick it to masculinity. Welcome to Lala Liberal Award Show season 2019.

The tweet appears to be in reference to actor Billy Porter’s dress-tuxedo at the Academy Awards this past weekend.

It may have also been in reference to Shangela, who showed up in full drag.

Lahren’s attack was met with immediate backlash by Twitter users:
If you're a man and your sense of masculinity feels attacked by a man in a dress, then your masculinity is the problem, not the man in the dress. Plain and simple.

There is no "assault" on masculinity. The real assault happens every day, on thousands of LGBTQ+ people across the world. You're so quick to pretend like you're under attack, when our people are literally being MURDERED for being who they were born to be. Shut up, Tabby.

If you don't know the difference between masculinity (good men) and toxic masculinity (bad men) I really don't know what to tell you. Calling out toxic men has nothing to do with anything but asking them not to be assholes… but if you like assholes… 🤷♀️

Are you shitting me with this? It’s the right attacking their own young boys for not being masculine enough. Threatening to drown them. It’s the left that is okay with their son learning to wear make-up, not because they may or may not be gay one day, but because they light up.

Name one person attacking "traditional men and marriage".
To be clear, being a vile asshole doesn't make you a "traditional man"; it just makes you a vile asshole.

That you don't get it says it all. My masculinity has never been attacked by anyone in the LGBT community. Maybe that's because I am not judgmental of their choices and am respectful of them as members of society.
