Fox News Is Running My Pillow Ads During Trump Impeachment Senate Trial
Fox News is airing full-length commercials and airing pro-Trump commentary during the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump.
Media Matters for America’s Andrew Lawrence tweeted a video clip on Wednesday of Fox News airing a “My Pillow ad with audio while showing the impeachment trial on a split screen without audio.”

About ten minutes later, Fox News aired yet another ad for My Pillow:

“Fox News has the optics of covering the #ImpeachmentTrial without actually covering it,” Vox’s Aaron Rupar tweeted Wednesday evening.
“They’ve been showing screen-in-screen video of the proceedings without audio. Instead, hosts are providing Trumpian spin,” he added, sharing a video clip of Fox News’ coverage. “It’s propaganda giving the illusion of journalism. Remarkable.”

Here’s a comparison between CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News’ coverage of the impeachmenat trial from around 9:30pm EST tonight:
One of my favorite things with politics is flipping back and forth between CNN, MSNBC, and FoxNews and just see how they are delivering news…just found this comparison really interesting – one network not giving audio of testimony, but talking over it #TrumpImpeachmentTrial pic.twitter.com/IJPgHmynVV
