FBI Sought Records Related To The ‘Access Hollywood’ Tape In Trump Lawyer Raid: NYT

The FBI agents who raided President Trump’s personal lawyer’s office and hotel room on Monday sought records related to the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape released weeks before the 2016 election, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The agents wanted records related to the 2005 tape, during which Trump could be heard bragging about grabbing and kissing women without their consent, as well as any evidence that Cohen attempted to suppress damaging information about Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, sources briefed on the warrant told The Times.

Agents were also seeking information on payments made to two women who have accused Trump of extramarital affairs, Karen McDougal and adult film star Stormy Daniels, according to The Times. They also searched for information on the role of the publisher of The National Enquirer in silencing the women.
