Fox Business host Lou Dobbs told his viewers on Tuesday that it was “time to declare war” against the “deep state” he says is present in the FBI and Justice Department.
“It may be time to declare war outright against the deep state and clear out the rot in the upper levels of the FBI and the Justice Department,” Dobbs said. “Yes, I said ‘the rot.’”
“The FBI and the DOJ have broken the public trust by destroying evidence, defying oversight and actively trying to bring down the Trump presidency,” Dobbs added.
Good Lord. Latest from Fox/GOP is claims there's an FBI "Secret Society" working to overthrow President Trump. pic.twitter.com/62Lh62xtjP

In response to Dobbs’ public rant against the FBI, MSNBC analyst Malcolm Nance, a former Naval intelligence officer, suggested on Wednesday that Dobbs was a traitor to the United States.
“I saw that Lou Dobbs video last night,” Nance said. “It pays for all of you to keep track of all of the information that’s going on. That statement is dangerous. I’ve dedicated my entire life to defending this country. And what we have is, for someone to call for the U.S. Marshals or the Secret Service [to confront the FBI], they are literally trying to split law enforcement to consider the FBI as a subversive element within the government and trying to stoke rebellion.”
“Those words are sedition,” Nance said of Dobbs remarks. “Look it up in the dictionary.”
