Eric Trump Gets Unexpectedly Shot Down By ‘Fox & Friends’ Host: Republicans ‘Blew It’ On Health Care

Eric Trump, the president’s second eldest son and an executive vice president of The Trump Organization, met some unexpected resistance on the Trump-friendly ‘Fox & Friends’ broadcast this morning after making several wild claims about the Democratic party’s platform.

“America is winning!” Eric exclaimed. “We are winning at everything we do. Our economy is winning, our military is winning, our veterans are winning. We’re winning at jobs, we’re winning with trade, we’re winning at everything right now.”

“What are the Democrats running on right now?” he asked the panel. “They’re running on let’s double everybody’s taxes, they’re running on let’s attack law enforcement, let’s abolish ICE.”

“They’re running on health care,” Steve Doocy accurately noted.

Brian Kilmeade also shot down Eric’s wild claims: “And the Republicans blew it by not coming up with a repeal and replace plan. They set themselves up for this.”

Before Eric Trump could respond to Kilmeade’s point, Ainsley Earhardt saved Eric with a softball question: “Are you excited about seeing your wife later this week?”

Eric also claimed that former President Barack Obama had a “personal problem” with his dad and was “taking credit for a lot of” his father’s accomplishments.
