The Empire State Building in New York City has gone dark to honor the 17 students and teachers who lost their lives in the horrific school shooting in Parkland, Florida one week ago today.
The building’s spire will display a rotating “orange halo” to honor the victims of the shooting, according to the building’s website.

The display will be similar to how the building was lit following the deadly mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival in October.
