Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) urged President Trump on Wednesday to “get off his ass” and work with lawmakers to address the endless cycle of school and mass shootings in the U.S.
“I agree with every word @realDonaldTrump said here,” Moulton tweeted in response to the president’s tweet offering condolences for those affected by a deadly shooting at a South Florida high school on Wednesday. “I invite him to get off his ass and join me in trying to do something about it.”

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that at least 17 people were killed when a 19-year-old ex-student opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Police arrested the suspect, identified as Nikolas Cruz, a former student at the school who had been expelled.
“@SpeakerRyan, how many Americans have to die before you do your job? Allow us to have a debate and a vote,” Moulton tweeted at House Speaker Paul Ryan in October, shortly after a shooter opened fire on a Las Vegas music festival. “You’re letting America down.”
