President Trump kicked off a “superspreader” campaign rally tour on Monday in Sanford, Florida, where he threatened to “take care” of former President Barack Obama “after the election.”
“We want to know if you will agree with a friendly transfer of power?” Trump told the crowd, mocking reporters’ questions about whether he will commit to a peaceful transfer of power if Joe Biden wins in November.
“For four years they’ve been trying to get us out of office. Four years they’ve been trying to get us out,” Trump said.
“But we’ll take care of it all after the election,” Trump warned before falsely claiming: “We caught ’em cold. We caught ’em cold. Bad people. Crooked Hillary.”
“And by the way, Obama and Biden knew everything that was happening, okay, just in case you had any questions,” Trump added.
“We’ll take care of it after the election,” Trump again warned as “lock him up” and “lock them up!” chants broke out.
