A British politician is calling for President Trump to be arrested “for inciting racial hatred” with his inflammatory anti-Muslim tweets if he “steps foot on UK soil.”
Labour MP Paul Flynn tweeted: “Trump should be arrested for inciting racial hatred if May allows him to set foot on UK soil.”

Flynn’s tweet came a day after Trump re-tweeted multiple videos which were first sent out by a leader of the ultranationalist Britain First Party, Jayda Fransen, who was found guilty last year of “religiously aggravated harassment” after she verbally abused a woman wearing a hijab in front of her four children.
Fransen was arrested earlier this month over a hate speech she gave this summer at a Northern Ireland Against Terrorism rally in Belfast, according to the BBC.
Several MPs publicly criticized Trump calling him a “fascist” and “stupid” and saying he is guilty of “spreading evil,” according to The Times.
One MP said the president is a “racist, incompetent, or unthinking, or all three.”
Peter Bone, a Conservative Party MP, called for Prime Minister Theresa May to ask Trump to delete his Twitter account.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan, a Muslim, said Thursday that Trump is promoting a “vile, extremist group” and a visit from him “would not be welcomed.”
President Trump has used Twitter to promote a vile, extremist group that exists solely to sow division and hatred in our country. It's increasingly clear that any official visit from President Trump to Britain would not be welcomed. pic.twitter.com/oZ1Kt0JCfY
